Changing the narrative of women in STEM through reading
#60STEMstories is a campaign Isabella Delbakhsh started in 2021 with a goal to create a more accurate and authentic representation of women in STEM in children's books.
She is on a mission to collect 60 children's books, by March 31st, that highlight women in STEM and change the narrow narrative women are often depicted in.
This campaign was made possible because of the stories Isabella was able to uncover through this podcast, the female mentorship she has received, and her own experiences being a woman in STEM.
